The Common Law is the will of Mankind Issuing from the Life of the People.

That quotation tops the new website of the Department of Justice. Now devoid of the patriotic red, white, and blue colors of the Ashcroft days, the new site is a study in black motifs. whether the quotation is intended to be a motto, a slogan, or whether it was simply used to fill up the top of the website, it’s an interesting 15 words coming from the Barack Obama-Eric Holder DOJ.

As Bruce Cunningham of AmericanThinker.com points out, the quotation is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930′s was a leading proponent of the ‘international law’ movement. [which sought] to impose a global common law and which backed ‘global workers’ rights’. Cunningham thinks the words fit very well with the DOJ’s Marxist, Progressive, Socialist tenor which makes the DOJ look corrupt.

I have a news flash for Mr. Cunningham: the Obama-Holder Justice Department doesn’t need the Jenks’ quotation to make it look corrupt. its recent actions with regard to the New Black Panther Party debacle accomplish that feat very well, thank you very much.

Last summer former DOJ attorney J. Christian Adams testified before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission that Holder’s department was a black racist entity that would only enforce civil rights laws against white people and cited the handling of the NBPP case as partial evidence.

If we hadn’t seen it then, we sure have now.

Adams, who resigned in protest from the DOJ, was roundly attacked by DOJ minions as a disgruntled conservative, and enthusiastically applauded as an excellent lawyer by his colleagues.

Adams’ charges needed no collaboration; his record and reputation spoke for themselves. However, now they have been seconded in spades by an equally-well respected DOJ prosecuter, Christopher Coates.

Coates defied his superiors by testifying at a U.S. Civil Rights Commission hearing Friday, where he leveled an explosive allegation: top officials in the department gutted a voter intimidation case against a fringe African American militant group [the New Black Panther Party] because the suspects were black and their alleged victims were white.

Coates went even further, saying that, the downgrading of the case against the New Black Panther Party was evidence of a Justice Department culture which discouraged ‘race neutral’ enforcement of civil rights laws, frowned on prosecuting minority perpetrators and folded under pressure from black and Latino rights groups. After President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder took office, the culture intensified.

In Coates’ own words, They [the Department of Justice] have not pursued the goal of equal protection of the law for all people.

More importantly, what will the Obama-Holder Justice Department do now? what will the Civil Rights Commission do now? what will the United States Congress do now?

The Justice Department, charged with providing the means for enforcing federal laws, furnishing legal counsel in federal cases, and construing the laws under which other federal executive departments act, has broken the very laws it was supposed to enforce. Attorney General Holder, the nation’s chief law officer, was certainly fully aware of the racist shenanigans surrounding the Panther case. If not, he should have been

So, where do we go from here? will the DOJ finally concede its racist application of the law and cease stonewalling? will Holder, who has previously expressed racist views, resign? will Obama force him out? will the Democrat Congress investigate and bring charges? will the NBPP case be re-opened and prosecuted?

Or, will it all be whitewashed, swept under the Oval Office rug, ignored in hopes it will just go away?

I expect a whitewash. After all, to suggest a black attorney general and the department he runs is bigoted, biased against whites, and to expect a Democrat Congress to investigate the whole seamy matter must be prima facie proof of white racism. No?

Selective justice is no justice at all, whether we’re ruled by a black man or by a white man.
